Denver Weekend Snow followed Major Cold Wave for October

Map for High Temperatures this
Coming Monday ( Columbus Day). As a large Candian area of high pressure moves south into the Central Plains. Before this will be a major storm system with heavy flooding rains, Severe T'storms and the possibility of some accumulating snow. Tracking from the foothills of Colorado through parts of Kansas and Nebraska. I'll have more on this tomorrow.....Justin

Sounds like a battle of the sexes game. Father fall with his cold air versus mother nature with severe weather....women rule, men drool, lol. Momma nature will pack more of a punch as father fall will just be getting used to his temporary 3 month home, like he's surveying the area, momma nature is a long time Lawtonian known to give father fall the evil finger.

My poor Alabama relatives that arrive next week will be in for a shock - Alabama in the 80s to Oklahoma in the 60s what a culture shock, there used to it though as they were once native Oklahomans.

Looking forward to your "hopefully snowy/icy winter forecast for Oklahoma."

Squirrels are already burying their nuts.....cats are getting thick fur already. Bring on the parkas and fur coats Sears, Dillards and JC Penney. Brrrr!!

I enjoy this site very much! Great job.
