Below Normal Summer Temperatures

Looking at the 90 day temperature means you can see during the Summer months June, July and August. A good portion of the nation had below normal temperatures. Much below normal temperatures in the North and Central Plains and including the upper Mississippi Valley. Above normal temperatures were in a couple locations such a California and parts of New Mexico and Texas. Then the graphic next to the temperatures shows the 3 month precipitation compared to normal. You can see the places that had below normal precipitation matched up with places with higher than normal temperatures. This is easily visible across the drought stricken areas of south Texas.

Brrr!! Any predictions for the weather from October 19-October 26?

I have Aunts from Alabama and cousins from Florida coming to Oklahoma for family fun so wanted to see what you thought the weather would be like during those times? I have a boathouse at Lake Lawtonka (tackle box road side of the lake) and would love to take my 6-year-old cousin Casey fishing, but I think it might be tooo cold for outside fishing, but perfect for indoor fishing in our garage at the boat house? Any thoughts?

My thinking is Old Man Winter wants to give us an early halloween fright, so maybe highs in the lower 40's upper 30s with a light icing during my family's stay.

If you have time lemme know your predictions. Love your website and your passion and thirst for weather, very appealing!!!

Thanks.........
